I am going to be buying a new 370z soon, but have come here seeking further help/information.

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys as well.

Not certain about the rest. Right now I am just looking to learn as much as I can before making the purchase. I WILL indeed get the car though. I'm not really car savy in all honesty. :/

You should definetly get the sports package b/c it's a great deal that you'll never be ever to match up against!
BBK + S-Mode + Rim + Spoiler
You don't really need touring unless you really want navi.
That just my opinion though!
And do not worry about a thing if you aren't up to par about the Z.
This is why you joined! To learn about the greatness of the Z.

Sports package is what I had in mind actually.

I'm debating whether I should get a 2009 or 2010, and whether the price differs much. What do you guys think?
