First off, does the automatic always lag so much on the upshifts? I've driven a paddle-shift manumatic before (Evo X MR), but I was completely surprised by how slow it shifted. I was planning on an manual anyways, but this is just ridiculous.

Second, I know all about the rearward-visibility complaints-are there any tips to mirror setting or the like to help out while I get used to it?

Other then that, I absolutely loved the car. I'm not sold on the persimmon leather that mine came in, and I'm more and more sure on black leather, but my decision to get this car has been confirmed.
It's a Z...They all suck looking out the rear-view mirror. I rely mainly on my side mirrors. I have them set at a comfortable position and the visibility is very good. Whenever changing lanes I can just look at my side mirrors. Just set your mirrors like you learned in drivers ed...So you see just a small fraction of the back quarter panels... I have mine set so I see a bit of the lip of the flared out rear tire wells and I can see across a whole lane on either side.
