I really got everything at PartSource (they have the same stuff at Canadian Tire). It's more the process than the product I think. I got Mcguiers claybar, Autoglym polish, and Mcguiers NXT tech wax. Everything was on sale. I would have got the autoglym wax but they were out. First I did a light claybar on the car to remove oxidized paint and artifacts. Not too aggressive as it's my first time on this car and better to go very light then mar the paint. Then I applied the polish, let it dry then buff off. Then Waxed and buffed. It turned out pretty good and now I know the limits of these products. I think this particular wax would be better used on this black paint with a rotary applicator/buffer as it did leave very slight uneven marks after I did it by hand. It may be because I didnt let it dry properly... I'm used to a carnauba wax. Heres a few close ups. EDIT: I should also say that the whole process was done inside with the paint cool to touch and it took me 5 hours. I did rush it a bit, I should have waited a little longer for the wax to dry.
