The 7AT is a very capable paddle-shifter option on the track (although like all tracky things, it needs a few upgrades for perfection: a Setrab cooler and probably GTM's valve body magic).

Thank you for clearing that up, I decided to go without the hassle of a warranty and crossing my fingers with this being a low mile car that I haven't dug my own grave. Valve Body and Oil Cooler are definitely on the list.

If your like the majority of us, our warranties were gone the day we got home with it anyway

That's what I'm thinking, I didn't search too hard but I couldnt find any common failures that I was too worried about. Given my history I will most likely be out of this car by 36k. I will have a sad face on if I lose a window regulator or A/C comp tho.
