Up shift indicator light

I still don't get it - why set so low? BTW, the auto should have this feature.

I set it low for those times I want to be more economical with the gas and change gears at lower rpm's. I just can't help myself sometimes.

I set it at 4000rpm during break-in.

That's over now - it's back at 7500rpm.

Wait a minute.... this is news to me!
I can set what RPMs the flashing shift light comes on at?
I totally missed that in the RTFM. Can someone please tell me where to find this info?

It's in the information center on the left of the wheel.

It's the redline for the VQ37VHR. I don't think I've ever lit it up at that high. In 1st/2nd gears, though, during spirited acceleration, it probably comes up pretty quick.

Yah, as ChrisSlicks says, it's in the info section on the left hand dial. Just press the "menu switch" button (the one with two squares) until the big menu with five items comes up. Select with the other button. You'll come up on the setting soon enough - it's almost like setting a clock.

lol you thread necros.

You can change it when you look on top of your fuel indicator, there's going to be 2 buttons you can press. One button is to change information on the display or navigate in menus, while the other is to select. I can't remember exactly what part of the menu it is but I got mine set at 6500rpm.
