Thanks guys, I'll post some pictures as soon as i get them.
I had put a 3M clear bra on it yesterday, now I can drive with no worries.

Congrats! Unfortunately clear bra does nothing for our weak doors. So i wouldn't abandon all worries. At least i wouldn't suggest parking next to any miatas.
