Ah ok, because riding it means that you have the clutch half way engaged (slipping) for too long... I guess it will just take some practice. Just to be sure,

I guess it will just take some practice. Just to be sure, did your dad drive your car without any noises? I mean it might be a bit clunky (although mine shifts smooth, but I'm used to my 350 transmission), but you shouldn't be grinding the gears... __________________
