I'm not sure what you mean by "Watcha got?". So I'll answer it in two ways (haha) ... I use to do audio work on cars a lot in the past, but, since I fell in love with the Touring/Navi with full Bose System I haven't had the want to set up a system. If you were asking bout the tint I got 5 % on the rear window, 20 % on the sides, and 75 % on the front windshield. I think the tinted front windshield makes the car look a lot more sleek but, higher risk of getting pulled over. But, your right you don't want your car getting broken into just because you got anything valuable in the trunk. The rear cargo cover doesn't do justice after you tint, you won't really use that anymore. If you want to go see if my guy at Cali Tint will give you a good deal hit me up and I'll try to go with you. Hope that answers your question .. lolz

Welcome KingZee and congrats! Sorry about the TL, that sucks. You got a Z out of it though so that's cool.

LOL @ Bullitt "Huge Break Kit"

I'm going the sport BBK upgrade route as well. Have most of the parts already. The sport package brakes seem to sell fast around here so you may want to jump on that.

Oh, and if you want to just upgrade your fronts I'll take the rears

If u think u are dreaming just take it to the dealership for it's first oil change. After the following depression that ensses from a 100+ dollar oil change you start doing it yourself with a high grade synthetic and enjoy the car more. They are awesome cars and you won't regret it. I love just having the premium interior materials (even base) and it really feels like a nice car.

Also for the sub box check out Zenclosures they are a sponsor here (scroll down on the forum home page) and they make a great box that molds in between the strutbar and shock towers so it looks like it belongs there.

Thanks for the heads up on this, I was just about to leave my house to have the guy that installed mine do the measurements for the custom fitting. He had quoted me $250 for the work. The coupon still works so I just bought the 10" box from Zenclosures shipped for $149. If you're local I owe you a beer.

Schrute, love the name, I don't think I'll be buying the breaks right now, I have to take a break from spending all this money. I probably should have done performance parts before audio but that kinda just snowballed on me.

I'll post pics of the whole setup once I get the box.

This might be a dumb question but does anyone know how to remove a sub from an enclosure to install it in another one? I'm wondering more about the physical removal and installation, not necessarily wiring.

Usually there's just a few screws that you have to remove then it comes right out. Sometimes there's a trim ring hiding the screw heads, just carefully pry it off.

KingZee, if you're looking for an oil change or performance upgrades you should check out Amplified Motorsport.

They're a sponsor of the forums here and their shop is in Monterey Park. I can assure you that they do great work and are good people. Give them a holler if you need anything.

Good to see someone also from the Valley. I'm up here in Northridge.

Thanks, I'll try it out.

dszombiex, thanks for the heads up, I'll check them out. I graduated from CSUN so I know Northridge pretty well, had some good times there. Maybe I'll run into you at a meet.

My head is spinning from reading that 18 page thread on what oil should be used...I'm more confused now than before.
