New Z in Katy Tx

2010 base auto with sports. Got a good price decided to go with it. now just waiting for that 1200 mile mark....First thing I want to do is to replace the crappy sound system for something better. Anyway I hope to become a regular on this forum with other owners. I already learned alot by lurking

now i can provide some input and thoughts. Love the car and can't wait to drive it around everywhere

Welcome, this Sunday is Coffee & Z at Uptown park at the Starbucks. A bit of a drive from Katy, but you get to meet other Z/G owners and some other cars now & again.

The 7AT is great, its really the best of both worlds. The auto is great for just cruising, and the manual mode is the best ive ever used. Rev matching when downshifting sounds amazing. Unfortunately I have plans all day on sunday. Thanks for the invite though

It is fine, the meet up is every month on the second Sunday at 10:30 so if not this month maybe the next.

Oh that's why i didn't know. It's in Houston.

Dallas has an "Uptown" area too. So when I saw Uptown I was thinking Dallas.

haven't stumbled across any monthly meets in dallas unfortunately.. beyond the Z Club of Texas that is. it's a formal meet/club with a treasurer, minutes, newsletter, all that. some younger people especially (myself included) feel that it's format is too professional and are typically looking for a "hang-out" style of meet. they do those as well, but the monthly meeting is just that, a meeting. i've gotten used to it and love the fact that they are so involved in many different activities and such.
