Hey everyone,

Been lurking for awhile

i've had my new manual zed for 1 week now and absolutely loving it...

I changed from a white polo gti (all my cars have been and will be white).

I must say seems like nissan have changed something in the car... the thing is fairly quiet... there is less engine, road and gear changing noise. On the test drive the thing was very very noisy and against the wishes of my girlfriend i purchased the car anyway. She's fine with the way the new car rides and sounds... odd, even the dealership manager commented saying he thinks something has changed...

The car will remained completely unmodified for me, really not the sort to start tweaking things, if i do add anything they'll be blind spot mirrors...

Anyway i'm in sydney, if anyone wants to meet up feel free to pm me.

Brian

compared to your other white vehicles, how does the Z's color and finish stack up?

it's a pearl white not a soild white. I have no complaints with the paint finish, as far as i can tell the colour is very even and consistent. The white has a yellowish hue to it, but it's not a faded look or anything like that. The fact that it's not a solid white adds an additional dimension to the car.

Compared to the other white car i had, well they were both quite good in terms of paint finish. The vw was a plain solid white with no hue that i could detect.

thanks for the congrats msgs, i think it'd be impossible to not enjoy the car... this car was in a very close race with the BMW 1 series coupe, i'm really glad i settled on the nissan. Features, performance and look wise it simply wins.

What do you mean, did you drive a 2009 model and it was really noisy but the one you purchased is now more quiet?? What has changed?

Grats! I do love white, but the PG was callin my name!

How many miles do you have so far? I took her home monday night and just hit 500. Aimlessly drove around last night for hours so i could get some chevron gas in her hah. No clue what the dealer filled up with.

No exactly new Pearl White Z. Just joined this forum though and thought I'd say how much I enjoy this car. Would like to upgrade exhaust one day and add OEM spoiler. For now splash guards and 35% tinting are it.
