Sorry been too busy to take any more with better lighting... Like the carbon fangs :-) Not for me though... I've been looking at the Mines carbon splitter and don't think the carbon fangs will look as good with that... Want to lower and do exhaust before I get to that...

I wanted to put tints on the windows but found out that law in UK on tints is really strict... Driver and passenger windows must let through 70% of the ambient light... which is pretty much how the windows come stock...

Already got pulled over by police within 4 hours of getting the car because.... "...yes I know you were under the speed limit sir but, quite frankly, I didn't like the manner of your driving!" He said I'd gone round the corner too fast. I politely said that it didn't seem very fast and I was confident that I could stop in time if anyone stepped into the road and he said "well it wouldn't seem very fast in one of these, would it". He let me go... not before saying "nice car!"... I think he just hadn't pulled one over before and wanted bragging rights back at the station...

After that - I'm thinking tints would be more trouble than they're worth... don't want to give them any more excuses.

Loving it though! Only, it does feel like it's doing 5mph when I'm doing 40mph...

I'm getting a Storm White GT in 2 weeks and been looking for matt black wheels in 20" but there's no choice in the UK, only 19". I've decided to get the stock wheels coloured and wondered if you got someone to do them for you or did them yourself - and if so what you did and how it turned out.

They look good on the pictures

I had it done by a body-shop recommended by the dealer first. They did a poor job and used a solvent-based paint without keying the surface properly.

I kerbed the wheels a while after and the shoddy work was revealed because the finish couldn't be repaired... paint was flaking off because it hadn't bonded properly... so had to be completely re-done.

I took it to ChipsAway in St. Albans who had the wheels stripped back to the metal, rekeyed, primed/powder-coated, finished in black-gloss water-based paint and lacquered. Cost £75 per wheel... took a few days but was worth it.

Much better finish and repairable now... I know this because a broken-kerb protruding from the pavement chipped the rim and with the exception of the small chip, the rest of the paint stayed on... no flaking... Took it back to them and they touched in the chip with some black paint. You have to go very close to see where they've done it... They said they could repair it in an hour or two so it would be completely unblemished but it was such a small chip and was so hard to notice once touched in that I decided that it wasn't worth repairing back to a perfect finish for now. Now used to the width of the car so don't expect any more kerbing... lol! Probably will repair soon.

Matt-black? Hmmmm... not sure how that will look with the Storm White paint and glossy-black b-pillar... Try it in photo-shop first.
