Was there really that many people who cared what Eugene and Dwight were doing? Ten or fifteen minutes, fine - but a whole episode?

I know right. I kept on thinking they must have had something in their contracts about getting more screen time at some point lol

Yep, I enjoyed seeing the Saviors and Dwight in their own element. Since Eugene is one of my favorite characters, so I enjoyed the episode immensely.

It is about time to see people start making rational decisions for once!

I'm almost done with it......next week the previews show Rick and Michonne getting it on.....who cares? I'm also tired of the pacifist Carol story arc too.....It was better when she was knifing people and killing them. Her moping around some weird house all alone getting visitors with f'ing cobbler.....enough already. I'm tired of Rosita too. This latest story arc makes the crappy hospital arc seem like a emmy winner.

while I'm ranting......I'm tired of Morgan as well. Al he does is take up resources and won't fight or scavenge. He used to be bad *** wit the kendo stick, it might as well be twig now.

I actually didnt mind the last one. However, the one 2 weeks ago sucked. I think tonight it will pick up.

I think AMC is trying to figure out what to do with the unexpected dislike by viewers of Negan, who is otherwise brilliantly cast, and that outcome has generated a lot of dead air to be filled by random babbling dialogue from other characters.

What we may be seeing is the dividing line in between the TV fans and the comic fans: The (comic) story is not about feel-good Hallmark moments; it is about survival in an unforgiving hellscape, where anything can happen and usually does.

They are starting to spend too much time on the former and get cartoonishly silly with the latter. Neither type of fan is going to tolerate that forever...

Lame filler episode. They got guns and Rick and Muchone screwed like rabbits and ate MRE. What a date.

Was the dislike of Negan unexpected? I fully agree he was brilliantly cast, and under normal circumstances I would add that is likely a large reason for a character as such to be liked, disliked or otherwise. However in the case I'm pretty sure Glenn and Abraham don't much care for him :D and the graphic way he put them to their maker AMC could not have possibly thought people would have a feeling toward Negan other than kill that mofo.

I want to look forward to this show on Sundays and I may don't know if I can anymore. Last week was OK, but this episode was just plain bad.

Rick wants to stay out and screw Michonne so he doesn't have to deal with his responsibilities at Alexandria. One minute they're arguing whether 8 walkers is too much to handle and then Michonne starts slicing through them 2-3 at a time. Rick keeps falling and trying to fight from the ground instead of taking 2 seconds to stand up and defend himself. That pathetic excuse for a fakeout scene was unnecessary, especially after all the Glen ********. And that dear CGI looked like something you might find in a fan film.
