If you are going to be a whiner at least use coherent English.

The episode "Bury me here" pissed me off for about half the episode, but the second half was brilliant. Looks like both Morgan and Carol are back. I suppose next episode I will get upset about Rosita and Sasha...hopefully they don't get Jesus needlessly killed. I won't hold my breath :ugh2:

They should have killed Morgan

Also: Did anyone else notice the whopping huge continuity error in the scene where there is a roadblock?

What happened to the gate they were facing? It became a row of shopping carts.

Film will never be able to go as far as written material can. After 7 seasons, there's bound to be some bland episodes, and continuity errors. I'm still enjoying it, though.

I predict this episode scene for scene. I actually really enjoyed it, it was just overly predictable.

Reasonable suggestions and fair questions.

I had about given up before they introduced Negan -- and did an excellent job. Now I'm loafing around to see what they do with it... so far, it's been to keep him off camera, because, apparently he is not as well liked as hoped.

I am not beholden to any canonical telling of Kirkman's work; when AMC does well, differing from the original or not, I take note of it (and same for when they do poorly).

You can like something and critique it just you can dislike something and give it a generous pass on poor craft. I'm just offering my 2 cents like anybody else here.

In the grander scheme: You might think of my complaints as a counterbalance to blind fandom for the show, of which there is much.

I find Rosita to be annoying too. What's her f'ing problem? Does she really think she can go up to the Saviors main camp all alone and kill Negan? And where is Karllllllllll? Got to find Karllllll!!

Now you are unfairly making me out to be TWD fanboy, which, I assure you I am not. For me Into the Badlands and Preacher are far superior AMC shows. With that being said I do enjoy a long running post-apocalyptic show and I look forward to it every Sunday night even though the way they create drama is having the characters continually make stupid decisions (a common zombie movie trope). I have no knowledge of the graphic novel story either.

But I have to say that being critical is one thing but saying that they should cancel the show (in a clever way) is over the top, and it becomes tiresome that people use this thread to incessantly whine about its shortcomings. Like I said, if it is that bad I am not sure how intelligent a person is to waste their time watching it (I think that phenomena is called hate-watching). Also it seems that people feel that being critical makes them sound intelligent, but for me it comes off as being pedantic.

Why take pleasure in crapping on something that people like? It's just human nature I suppose.

BTW, one way or the other, Eugene made a great decision!

To AMC's credit, she's been well cast and given some stuff to do that's more noteworthy on the TV show than in the comic.

Well that episode was a bit of a let down. I enjoyed the short bit with Maggie and Daryl finally addressing Glen's death, and I like pretty much every moment Simon has on the show. Too bad that was less than half the episode. The arc with Sasha and Rosita felt like 5 minutes worth of story that was stretched over a half hour, and of course they leave us with a cliffhanger at the end instead of giving the audience anything worth a damn.

That was about the best episode of the season. The only thing that would have made it better is if Rosita and Sasha would have made out.



Things are looking great for the next two :tup:
