OK, So this coming up Sunday, 25th.

Where should we all meet?

So how long is everybody available for this shoot? 2-3 hours? Less? It would be nice if we had enough time for some rolling shots, industrial and some spring shots.

Well since Fast Eddies is in Alton I guess we could do the shoot up there by the bridge. I always wanted to try that as a backdrop. I think there is also an abandoned building I've seen up there where we could do some industrial shots.

When we get done there, we could shoot over to Conservation Area and have some fun down there.

Sounds like a plan?

I've got the F.I. CBE with the 18" resonators coming in a few weeks and also a set of Berk HFC waiting to go on the car. I'm starting to get concerned that it may be too loud for my taste, due to reading others' reviews.

Anyone local have a similar set up, so I can listen to it in person?

Hi Josh,

I do not have that set-up . Red and I are ordering our FI exhaust soon. You'll most def be getting it before we do. if it's too loud , there's a few companies that make exhaust silencers or you can sell your exhaust to me or red :tup:

I had that exact set up on a Z I drove as a demo; and I can tell you I miss that sound. Ask Red what he thought of it, he heard it in person. It's pure sex in my eyes. It's not crazy loud but it's not mild either.

I was thinking of just doing the exhaust and not the hfc, but I bought the $hit, I may as well give it a try. Thanks for the input gents, and Erik if I don't keep the hfc's you'll be sure to get the first "locals only" price on 'em. :tup:

Sooo, How did everyone hold up in the rain today? It was really coming down.

They're forecasting showers tomorrow too so we'll have to postpone the shoot til next week.

Im off till may 3rd, i see starbucks and lunch with friends next week maybe!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys, we're getting more rain over the weekend.

Even if it doesn't rain on Sunday I won't be able to do the shoot. Just got a last minute big project that I have to finish in 2 weeks starting tomorrow.

I won't be able to due this sunday. Kids b-day. We will just have to wait for better weather I guess.

Yeah, it's wierd how it always rains on weekends.

The band is called "Tool". If you're not familiar with them, they play rock that is towards the heavy end of the spectrum.

They don't tour very often, which is why I'd like to get good seats.

yaeh, tickets are on sale this saturday. I am trying to get some. Brickhouse sounds good. I like the eye candy, lol - i'll see if I can think of something else.

Many of us have busy Saturdays….the family, house and errands. BUT then, there ARE our cars…and the need to get out, spend some time with others over just coffee and chat.

CARS & COFFEE is just that. Everyone gathering early Saturdays, at a central location, get or bring a coffee and just enjoy cars.…just a good reason to get out, have coffee and drive when traffic is a LOT less.

It starts early, and ends early so everyone back home is happy that you are not off killing the whole day.

THE IMPORTANT THING IS...our cars are out, we're driving and seeing and talking cars for a few moments of the week with others of like mind. Your neighbors (and some of your friends) wouldn't understand.

CARS: open to all makes & marques, ALL eras and it’s not a show or concours. It’s just that: cars & coffee.

[Don’t like Starbucks?? Bring your own or have a Wendy’s and breakfast which is next door.]

If it’s raining – then forget it until the next time, June 19, same place and time. No one really wants to take their cars out in the rain. Besides, you can’t sit inside a coffee shop and really appreciate the cars outside.
