FuszNissan 02-24-2012 02:24 PM

StLRedrider 02-24-2012 04:01 PM

sfearl1 02-24-2012 07:03 PM

A group of us are talking about driving this road on march 3rd then meeting in chesterfield valley for a bite to eat. Anybody interested?

edit: nvm, looks like that'll be a 6+ hour roundtrip. still planning to meet march 3rd in the valley!

white370j 02-24-2012 09:37 PM

I won't be able to meet on march 3 but you all can stop by my work if you want and point and laugh as you all are driving around and I'm stuck there

haggomyeggo 02-27-2012 09:39 AM

Well my police test is at 9 and it says about 3 hrs for that so provided I get a new key for my Z I will join you all for lunch or whatever just let me know the place!

17245 Chesterfield Airport Road Chesterfield, MO 63005

This road is approximately 15 min away from the dinner and we will be meeting before and heading there around 4.

After the cruise we will be eating at Jason Deli, and hanging out. We will have a camera there and hope to get a lot of good pics.

If you don't want to come to the cruise, the meet will happen around 5 on Saturday at jason's deli and will last until we get tired. Hope to see some new faces there! If you are planning to attend either event go ahead and respond here so we can get an idea of how many people are coming.

This is totally informal guys (read: not much planning went in to this). We're still trying to get the club on its feet. We're really just wanting to dust the Z's off and get out and about. It would be great to see a few 370's out there!

If you guys want to join the mailing list, head over to www.stlzc.com and sign up. We will be sending out future newsletters and meet invitations through this mailing list.

Jerggy13 02-29-2012 12:54 AM

Should do a River Road cruise. A drive from Alton Marina to Pere Marquette. Loading Dock in Grafton is always a good stop.

sfearl1 02-29-2012 07:57 AM

That's the other club's territory lol

erkthejerk73 02-29-2012 08:10 AM

well, the line has been drawn.... are you in or are you OUT?

:icon18: lol i kid i kid. we just wanted something new and fresh. my dad is part of the other club. i've been to a few of their shows, and IMO they're nothing to write home about. it seems like they're a bit clique-y at the meets. that's just my opinion though, no hard feelings towards them. STLZC is pretty far behind the actual organization they have - committees, chair holders, $$$, etc.

we don't really want any of the "politics" associated with car clubs, so you won't hear about that stuff w/ STLZC. we hope to gain some momentum here soon and just offer STL Z enthusiasts a great community to be a part of. What the guys have up in Chicago with ChicagoZ, we aspire to have here with STLZC. fyi, we are a whopping 10 members strong ATM! :happydance:

STL is big enough for two Z clubs, right?

What other club? A club based out of Chicago? Anything south of Joliet is out of their jurisdiction. ;)

Here's another question for St. Louis Z owners...

What's the best Nissan dealer in the St. Louis area for service as far as price & convenience goes?

Good/bad experiences to share?

I know Lou Fusz is a sponsor here, so they get credit.

I like West County Nissan. Our Nissan Armada gets serviced there couple times! St. Charles Nissan...dealt with the service department there..and the manager there is a dooche!

just a heads up, West County Nissan is hard to turn into at their new location... scraped my aero plastic on both entrances :shakes head:

Cool. West County Nissan is actually where I purchased my Z, so they'd be my 'natural' choice. Just curious to hear others' opinions.

Oh, and yes, you do scrape on their lot. At least, with the Sport package you do. The first Z I test drove there was a Sport+Touring. I tried to be careful, but it scraped on the way out and on the way back in. :ugh2: The second Z I test drove (and subsequently purchased) was just the Touring; no Sport. It didn't scrape. ;)

keb370z 02-29-2012 11:31 PM

I go to St. Charles and have had great experiences there. And no scraping. :)

milesdavis11 03-01-2012 09:39 PM

I like Lou Fusz for my Z and so far have treated me very well. I've taken my Altima to West County from time to time (when I don't have time to go to Fusz) and liked them. I used to go to St. Charles and repeatedly received poor service. Their sales department sucks as well. I've never tried Bommarito (spl?) but that is where I bought my Z.

FuszNissan 03-02-2012 10:09 AM

I've never heard of these other places :ughdance:

Just kidding.

Can carbon fiber dent? I truly have no idea.

I think I'd be more worried about the aluminum top & trunk, as I know that dents pretty easily.

I hate hail. :icon14:

haggomyeggo 03-02-2012 01:20 PM

Lou has been great with part requests and such. I bought my car used from te Lou Fusz Mazda dealer

I live in IL and auffenberg is the local dealer. The sales staff there are idiots. I would never buy a car there but when I've had a problem (steering lock, lost key fob) the service dept has been pretty good.

Another note, what is the planned route for the drive getting together on saturday? I don't see my PD testing taking till 4 since it starts at 9am. And I don't have anywhere to go in between and 2 drives to chesterfield from IL is a little too much gas..but I'd still like to drive the road you all are planning to do. I'll have to catch up with all of you at the next one...

None of us have met up yet... Its the first "official" meet. It'll probably be small. Like 5-6 guys maybe, but oh well - it's an excuse to get out and see some other Z's

Jasonle 03-03-2012 08:30 AM

It was great meeting you and your wife (and the dogs :p )!

I'm glad you guys got to make it out. Your Z looks great! I'll be posting up some pics from earlier in the day in a bit. I'll let you know when they're up.

Let's plan on trying to get together at least once a month here coming up. Maybe the last weekend of the month if that works out for everybody?

Stl370 03-03-2012 09:18 PM

It was good meeting everybody for sure. Plus I'm always down for any excuse to go for a drive haha
