IDK,

I'm having a bonfire Saturday if some of you guys want to stop by. My wife is having her company party here. Just ordering pizzas and having anyone who comes bring some drinks. Costumes optional, but LMK if anyone wants to stop by. I think some of them are going to Statesville Haunted Prison down the street at some point too.

Doing renovations?

Did everyone here install their own exhausts or take it to a shop? I know the bolts can be a pain so trying to weigh my options.

I'm just generally busy (or hungover) on the weekends. I moved to Schaumburg mid-June a different I haven't had more than two or three free weekends.

Yes, almost done :)

I installed my own. Honestly the tools needed are minimal. Btw, good choice on the exhaust. I personally favor fast intentions (obviously I got it) but that's definitely a top pic if i had to choose another.

I'm working on my basement here myself. There's nothing down there now. But building a fitness room and a theatre room. I just ordered up a virtual reality bike trainer set up, and still need to find a treadmill and figure out my weights set up. I've been working on it slowly for while. Most of the framing is done now. Wish I had more time to work on it.

I'm a few weeks away from ordering an FI exhaust. I'll be doing it in my garage.

Were you able to break the bolts free by hand or use an impact?

I'm not 100% on the ARK yet so there's a chance I may join you guys in the FI club . The Ark seems to sit lower so hopefully that's not an issue.

Sweet, do mine too! :D I said I was going to keep my Z stock, but after cruising with all these guys, I knew I HAD to get an exhaust. The sound is intoxicating.

One particular bolt I rounded and had to drill out...otherwise everything can be done by hand.

If you're just doing the cat-back you shouldn't have a problem with bolts. Hit them with PB Blaster or something similar before hand if you're nervous about them being stuck.

Well, I bit the bullet and went against the grain by ordering the Ark Grip V2 CBE. Looking forward to having an exhaust note :D

nobody up for the bonfire/haunted prison?

So, I don't know why.....but I bought a treadmill for my home gym project today (pain cave!) I haven't been able to run for 6 months! After years of running/triathlon/mtb racing I ended up with some nasty plantar fasciitis in my feet. Hopefully, I'll be back at it soon, but I really don't know!

I just have to decide whether I'm going to stick this into my basement budget or put off my Stillen Gen3 purchase for a another month or two! LOL I know how you feel now Zman! I want to get this project done so I can get out more!

Yeah....it's been more than a year my PF has been going on. I've tried everything but cortizone shots and surgery to date, including 4 months of physical therapy that I did in conjunction with PT for a broken collar bone I did on a mountain bike trip. I also work with a coach/trainer on my overall training for races. He's tried several things as well. Finally, 6 months ago, he decided to stop me from running all together and add in a day a week of mobility/strength exercises. He's got a goal for me to ba able to do 10 pistol squats each leg before I can run again, to prove I have the mobility to quit getting injured. It's been quite a mess! It's cost me a lot of run fitness and added about 20 lbs to my wasteline! :shakes head::shakes head:

Plantar fasciitis will do that. Terribly painful. I had it in both of my feet at the same time and it put me out of action for about 8 months. 12 weeks of rehab and pt sessions. Thankfully, it hasn't popped it's head since then. I learned that because of other injuries, I was running and walking incorrectly- trying to compensate where weight is being distributed.

That's kind of where I'm at. Both feet. I think it stems from the 1 broken ankle and 4 sprains that I've had. I'm not really changing my run form but more working on my flexibility and strength so that it corrects itself. I'm a weird runner. My coach noticed right away and was kind of amazed I could run 7min/miles without really moving my hips! LOL

Yep, my plantar fasciitis came from about 20 sprains on each ankle....:ugh2:

Season opener usually happens around March/April depending on weather condition. Hope you can come out to some of the meets, I want to see the BP kit!

We have a few more events happening probably this year as the season wraps up.
