This is actually my favorite time of the year for the z... sun doesnt bake it, no bugs out, its beautiful to drive around, and cooler temps help with keeping that motor running happy.

I'm thinking I will try to drive until dec. Ill need to do a really good detail in oct while temps are ok and then just qd after every drive.

you should use your evil prowess for good and find out when the next bikini car wash is! Not that any of our cars are dirty or anything. :)

Alright you guys lets plan an event for early october.

I propose a starved rock cruise or a meet and lunch.

Also, I would like to do an evening downtown cruise at some point.

I'm being sarcastic. :) I can't stand going into the city. I like to keep my Z for enjoyment. City=stress for me so cruisn' in the city doesn't mesh for me. I understand it's fun for some people though. :tiphat:

I have been lucky enough that going to the city I never have to leave my car anywhere, so relatively stressfree experience. I enjoy cruising down Wacker, Michigan, LSD at night. The Z fits in very well to the downtown night life.

I commute in every day. SO it's just lost it's luster for me. :)

For those of you not on our Face book page,

Jeff (ZR1) and I have leased a Heated warehouse in Woodstock to store our cars ( yeah we like a lot of space LOL)

Any how, we have about 10 spaces other then our 2 spots, 5 are spoken for as of today so we have aprox 5 spots left.

what makes our location unique?

1) Radiant indoor heating no forced air, no kick up of dust.
2) dedicated outlets for each car, keep your battery in the car and put it on your battery tender.
3) Lounge, thats right come and hang out during the winter, talk cars , watch hockey, football, etc etc.
4) we hope to have a space set aside for those who store there cars here a space to do work on there car during the winter. No major motor tear downs, but want to bring your jack and jack stands and swap springs, breaks etc etc we hope to have that area available. we will know more once we get cars in there and figure out the space. this isnt a for sure thing yet.

cost......$100 per month, we will be able to start taking cars Oct 19th, but im sure most will be looking for nov 1st.

any questions or interested please call 847-921-4 thousand (Jeff) or 847-226- seven 1 seven 5 (Jim)

Thanks

Jim

edit; you can reach me via pm too.

this is not a money maker for us, but we love our cars , want them kept nice and toasty and clean, so we rented a space for us, and figured we would at a minimal cost share it with those who have the need or want to have a place to go and talk shop during those winter months :driving:

Good deal for many  on finding a nice garage. My plan down the road is to actually buy a warehouse with my friend.

Nice! I don't need a spot but would still like to come hang with you guys, if that's allowed. Or is it members only :D

After a month of searching high and low I finally got a halfway decent second car and the driving experience couldn't be further from the Z. Its a 2003 Camry lol. It does have a v6 though. ...vrooom vroom :D

What is the deal with password JDM keep seeing stuff on FB about it.

DAN

jlo370z 09-28-2013 11:19 AM

closing down, big sale of stuff in stock

One_Quick_Z 09-29-2013 06:36 AM

I thought that I read it was a scam and they are not closing they just did it to boost sales.

thats a pretty pathetic way of increasing sales, if its true and they are behind it, id never buy a thing from them

ZMan8 09-30-2013 10:30 AM

Avoid pw jdm if you can. They had many false promises to the 370z community. .exhaust, rear diffuser, among them

This latest news just puts them completely off the radar for me.

Not if you see them in person. "Fit / Finish" were apparently not translated from JDM.

I agree, the fit on their cf pieces has been unanimously horrible.
