Tint in Minnesota? Please help.

Hello I just recently purchased my 370z. I do want to do tint but I am afraid of spending all that money then having to have it removed for being too dark (below 50%).

1. First question.. Does anyone know where I can go get my windows tinted below 50%? (as now it's illegal for retail shops)

2. Does anyone here from MN have OR had their windows tinted below 50 and have had any issues with the law?

3. I was thinking about going 35%. Is that a good tint percentage?

Any help is greatly appreciated in advanced!

I bought a 370 from out of state that came with 27% tint, which was legal in the state I bought it from. The 27% isn't as dark as it sounds like it would be. I'm guessing 35% would be great. I haven't put many local miles on mine, but I have yet to get pulled over. The MN law DOES state that if you have a prescription from an optometrist requiring window tint then you're exempt from the law. In the olden days, in MN you actually had a restriction on your driver's license REQUIRING window tint. That's no longer the case. Now you'd just carry in your car a prescription ALLOWING it. Hope that helps..
