A few of us belong to a local G and Z club that just started about a year ago. Here is a link to our Facebook page: http://www.iniclub.org

I don't have my Z anymore but I'm always willing to help.

Congrats on the new Z!

I won't have a Facebook account. Is there another way to read the group page? If not, I can get my wife to follow on FB.

Highway 09-10-2012 06:24 PM

Dembflyer is the man to talk to about 370z mods around here. I have a few done and planning on doing a few more over the winter. Nothing too crazy though.

As of right now the only way to keep up with club activities is on Facebook. It's just that it's a low cost way of hosting a site. If you'd like to meet up with some members you could always go to cars and coffee at McAlisters Cafe on Meridian st on the north side. There is usually a few members there on Saturday mornings starting at 10am.

Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Acke15 10-24-2012 08:26 PM

Anyone going to cars n coffee this Saturday?

Highway 10-25-2012 04:04 PM

I'm out. Hitting the back roads this weekend. One last time before the mods begin over the winter.

Quite a bit finally...MAF tubes, drop, spacers, rear fog light. Keeping it cheap this year.

Nice. We need to get a PW photo shoot going on next year...

Highway 04-07-2013 01:07 PM

Anyone down for autocross @ Grissom this coming weekend?

This was from yesterday :)

Highway 04-07-2013 05:54 PM

As of right now, I'm supposed to help my sister in law move from Plainfield to Lebanon next weekend. I should have never picked up a truck for a DD.

Were there any other 370s out there?

leeyeegue 04-07-2013 07:56 PM

Negative lol I was the only one

Highway 04-10-2013 06:32 AM

I had the Z out for about 3 hours trying to fix some rubbing issues last night and never saw another 370 the whole time.

Joker_J 01-15-2015 08:22 AM

What's your normal "stomping grounds" and what color? I work off of Crittenden Drive and live in Clarksville. Brilliant Silver.

zume 01-27-2015 04:00 PM

Anyone in the Bloomington, IN area? Would be cool to meet other 370z enthusiasts. I just bought mine and trying to get it modded.

Define area. :)

I'm on the west side of Indy. Once the weather gets a bit better I'll be passing though that area on occasional weekends looking for entertaining roads.

The Indy Z Car Club meets the second Thursday of every month at the Rusty Bucket in Indy. Everyone is welcome to drop by and meet the folks who are there.

The club puts on cruises periodically. There are usually several generations of Zs at each event.

There will be a car show in Chicago this year. It moves between four clubs. Cleveland had it last year, Indy the year before.

What sort of mods are you thinking about?

zume 02-01-2015 07:06 AM

Sounds awesome.

I just installed a short ram air intake yesterday which took 2 hours too long. Got the car tinted on Friday. Ordered carbon fiber emblems for front and back and also a carbon fiber license plate frame.

I'd like to get the car lowered a bit so I was looking at getting Swift Spec R springs.

I'll probably be changing out the catback exhaust and was also thinking about installing this wing: Motorsport! EVO-R Nismo High Wing with Carbon Fiber, 09-14 370Z* - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts

Bummer 02-02-2015 12:08 AM

Sounds like you have a plan. The 370Z is such a beautiful platform to begin with, it's hard to go wrong.

Before you lower, ask yourself about real world clearance. I scraped the bottom of my Roadster, with a stock suspension, when my wife and I were on vacation in Nova Scotia. Wheel rutted road, to be sure, but the Z's road clearance is already pretty tight. (Just a thought - your car/money/taste, of course.)

IZCC is meeting the 12th at 7 PM at the Rusty Bucket, 1130 West 86th Street, Indy. We have a private room reserved there. Granted, at an hour and a half away, it's not exactly local, but you're welcome to come and meet some of the more active members. We're always looking for potential new members.

I had no idea about this! I just moved to Giest on the north east side. Good info to have for when the weather is nice!

Erkkrose 02-03-2015 09:12 PM

Anyhow, I'm up in Bripp...look forward to seeing some of you guys around at some point.

Hey all. I just joined. Looking to find some people involved in some cross platform action in the Indy area.

Any of you all heard of IMIN? I heard that it exists...but can't seem to find out anything else other than that. I heard they might have a FB page but I can't find it. Maybe it's disbanded now?

I have a G37xS and am trying to find people in the area who do meets or whatever. I am a member of MyG37.com and have not had any luck over there. Indy doesn't seem to get the most love when it comes to cars haha. Either way, I'm on the NW side, over by Eagle Creek...if anyone wants to hang out and doesn't mind the G's...

I am planning on attending ZDayZ so that should be fun. If anyone is doing a caravan or is interested, let me know. Cheers!

Hey dude. I was looking for the Club's Fb page as well and finally came across it: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Indi...nfinitiNissan/

Pretty active group which is cool--I emailed about membership not long ago but haven't received any reply yet.

I'm originally from San Diego but recently moved out here for school for a few years. Anyhow, I'm over in Broad Ripple and definitely game to meeting other car folks.

Oh man you're my hero! :) I just emailed them as well. We'll see what happens. In the meantime, I'd be game for getting together with a few people on the weekends if they are interested. Do you have any plans on going to ZDayZ or other events this year?

NP! I am totally down to get out to any events as my schedule allows. I'm currently in med school and they keep us pretty busy--I'll be on lock down studying in May so will miss ZDayZ this year :( But I'm definitely interested in doing some weekend meet ups/drives and other events as they come up.

Let me know if you get a reply from the email you sent to IMIN, cause I still haven't.

Med school eh? Wish you the best with that! As for weekend meets, we will just have to keep pinging IMIN until they respond to one of us haha. I might start messaging random members if I don't hear something back. I'll definitely let you know if I get in touch with anyone or hear back.

Ok, got in touch with one of the admins...

For those of you in the Midwest...there is a group called IMIN (Indiana Modified Infiniti Nissan). I was just able to get in touch with one of the admins and you should know that they are active.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/Indi...nfinitiNissan/

That is the group and you just need to send an email to: IMINcarclub@gmail.com

They do monitor it and they will get around to adding you if you meet the requirements...which should be pretty obvious. :)

They added me just a few minutes ago.

Nice. Did they get back to you on actually joining the club and membership requirements via email as well? I still never got a reply from emailing them. I am in the FB group which is fine since I suppose most of the events will make it there anyhow and I guess I can just reach out like you did on the FB. Just curious if they are monitoring that email account tho and if there is anything more formal that they require to "make it official" haha.

They do monitor their email. I have been talking to one of the admins and they seem pretty chill. I would say just plan on coming to Cars & Coffee sometime when it starts getting warm. And keep an eye on the FB page. They said they go there almost every weekend. That's up at Paradise Cafe at 96th and Meridian. I've never been before, but plan on going.

I don't know about the official process, if there is such a thing. I can definitely ask them and find out.

Dembflyr 02-18-2015 08:23 AM

There is no official process. Get added to the page and you're in.
The FB page is where you would find the most current info about events and such.

Cool. Yea, it's stupid cold and snowy still...but I can't wait for spring. I'm pretty sure I should have at least 2-3 mods done by April. Hopefully most of them by May...because...ZDayZ!

Thanks fellas
