Excellent Tower....The steering wheel looks great Edub. I'm working Saturday morning, so no dyno get together for me.

tower74 10-28-2012 06:16 PM

Well you missed out. That dyno was being very nice to our numbers.
I put down 481hp and 427tq on that dyno. Blew my f-ing mind. Average about 465hp on the 3 pulls. Amazing what this turbo will do when you pull the cats off and install the proper plugs.

edub370 10-29-2012 08:15 AM

and having 30 degrees

hell i made 326hp, 268tq.

i am pretty pleased with those numbers

Halloween decorating ideas for your 370Z. Note the Honda keychain dangling from the hand?

GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

nissan just called told me they found nothing...

they were able to get it to stall and misfire, but no codes.

told me I had the wrong spark plugs in there.
i had copper and not platinum tips, wanted to charge me to install me plugs and try again tomorrow, i said no beuno

he reset the idle (charged me for this even tho I specifically said don't do anything but diagnose) and also told me she running slightly lean.

next time i should just catch $100 on fire,

JacksonZ33 10-31-2012 01:47 PM

you guys are prolly getting tired on me ranting about my pos z but

it died again this morning, (his idle rest didnt work)

just bought both cam sensors from dealer ($200) going home to install.

want to buy mine?

edub370 11-01-2012 08:24 AM

cam sensors would throw a code i would think. but i could be wrong

JacksonZ33 11-01-2012 01:26 PM

idk i think i fixed it, wont know 100% till it continues to run well.

feels like i picked up an extra 20hp too (which is what some1 warned me would happen if it was the cam sensors)

Damn, $200 for both. You should of went to an auto part store. I replaced one and it only cost me $70 for one and this is on a 370 not a 350.

JacksonZ33 11-01-2012 02:33 PM

ya the sensors at advancedauto/oreilly were only 60 a piece (vs $87 at dealer), although there is overwhelming evidence to show they are only good about 75% of the time, and that the cam sensors especially wont fit into the plug correctly.

so being that i wasn't positive they were bad i couldn't gamble with the unreliable

:happydance:

woop woop I think she fixed!!

What's going on this weekend. It looks like the snow might be here sooner than later. Which means our time is running short.
Anyone have an idea for Saturday??? I think it's suppose to be in the 60's.
