Any forum will have prosport horror stories. I'd stay away from anything made in china or Taiwan.

$50 per gauge makes me wary. Do they have any kind of warranty?

I think I saw one year. I just hit up a few forums and everyone seems to be around 1-2 years with no problems. Still on the fence. There is something to be said for having "name brand".

Going cheap on engine monitoring doesn't sit right with me. They've got to be cheap for a reason.

Im not too concerned. I have backups to where I can frequently run double and triple checks with accurate software and hardware to verify they are still accurate. Regardless your point stands for someone like DM. But plenty of forums have proof that these work quite well and are accurate and last. Maybe if we were talking about a 100k+ car I would care more but our engines are not expensive if anything were to happen.lol

I'm going to do a lot more research this weekend on these though. Probably won't go with them just because I like Defis but these other gauges could save a lot of other people a lot of money

Ok. I have been running my GTM SC/1.5 for 23,000 miles.

You must get a oil cooler the one from GTM is ok but it is behind their SC traction fluid cooler. I have it and it does the job, most of the time, barely when it gets in the upper 90s. The one nice thing about the GTM oil cooler is that is goes in well with the kit and does not interfere with the Intercooler.

I got a PLX Devices gauge with an AFR and Boost gauge modules. They work.

I will be putting in a new clutch this fall as it is starting to wear out after 20K worth of hooliganism.

I have a tick in my supercharger that has been in happening for 10,000+ miles. It only occurs at around 900rpm. Sometimes it is loud and audible, sometimes it is not there. I talked to Sam about it and he had never heard of it happening. I said fuk it after 2000 miles of trying to chase it down. I really wanted it to go T.U. so I could go to a stage 2, but it won't die so I quit worrying about it. I hammer the SC all the time and am putting out over 9psi with the stock pulley in the summer, and 10.4 psi in the winter.

YMMV

Don't trust the AFR from the OBD2.

I like these. They do the trick for now.

Actually I went with Defi gauges, and an Innovate Motorsports MTX-L A/F gauge,

I would recommend sticking with a well known company like PLX, Defi, Innovate, Auto Meter, etc.

The Boost Gauge is at 11.

If I wanted to tear my whole dash out I would put in the Defi gauges they are the hotness...

I'm not sure what your getting at now Lol?

I guess all of my opinions are just wrong. Why not go best if the best for your AFR gauge? Innovative's rock.

Gale those paper gauges are legit.

Those defis are so clean though.

The AFR sensor is the part that matters the most. Most are Bosch...

Yours is probably a Bosch too...

All that being said you don't have to spend a bundle to get quality bits...
