Congrats man! Thats whats up!!

dmhenderson 08-08-2012 08:35 PM

Mike should ready to coat/stencil my calipers next week some time if the guy in front of me returns the loaners on time. I might be close to done messing with it after that. Maybe.

Have you heard this setup in person bro? I heard a full FI lth and 18" cbe setup and it didn't scream anything like my ark and fi setup. Just food for thought (: exhausts are subjective so feel free to tell me to gtfo hahaha. Other than that congrats anything is better than stock especially FI.

Yeah I listened to a bunch before I settled. It's the sound I liked the best out of Berk/FI HFCs and FI/Stillen/Ark exhaust.

MyKindaGuise 08-08-2012 09:20 PM

Thats cool man. Glad your getting what you want. It took me months after getting my Ark to decide which header/hfc/test I wanted. The headerrs offered the best gains and the most "race car" like sound when doing WOT.

And you guys will get a chance to meet Nismo the Mid A Super Dog..:icon17:

dmhenderson 08-08-2012 09:51 PM

Oh **** we can bring dogs? Frank would love to come to this.

b1adesofcha0s 08-08-2012 10:06 PM

Dee you bastard, it took me 4 years to get away from College Park and now you're bringing me back there! At least you're learning the art of Trollolololing.

I would stay away from plasti dip on the handles. I did it, but took it right off because I hated the feel of it every time I opened my doors. Paint is definitely the way to go. Send me a PM with your number and I can text you about any question you have regarding plasti dip.

Lmao what can I say. These are facts that I just can't deny :bowrofl:

b1adesofcha0s 08-08-2012 10:13 PM

Dude I used to be the plasti dip king in this forum. Me and Masa started the whole plasti dip revolution on here. Now that I am confident enough to paint things myself I hate plasti dip. Then again most of my issues came from trying to do more than just flat black plasti dip. Either way, I'm not going to be putting any more plasti dip on my car.

You guys can check out the job I did painting my own brakes. It was the first thing I ever painted myself and it turned out amazing. Just ignore all the brake dust on the calipers. To that I say "because racecar" :p

dmhenderson 08-08-2012 10:38 PM

I was browsing paint products and somehow bought a GT-R start button I'm going to bed before I buy more useless stuff.

Thats a nice little addition right there..

dmhenderson 08-09-2012 08:08 AM

I think it made sense because I know exactly how to install it without reading any guides since I took a look at the assembly while I was installing my head unit. Shouldn't take me more than 10 minutes to get to it.

Don't say I didn't warn you guys about it being in the ghetto :icon17:

Make sure you'll have enough room/parking for like 10 Z's.

eastwest2300 08-09-2012 12:09 PM

It's not just parking though, we'll have to be moving our cars around.

I was saying, any other time, you'd love to get the opportunity to get in your car, push that little red button, and drive it somewhere... hahaha.... gosh damn, these damn trolls.:bowrofl::bowrofl:

b1adesofcha0s 08-09-2012 12:20 PM

We can rule out September 8th as a possibility since we have a cruise planned for that day.

Excuse me sir, my button is white. The way it was supposed to be, no fake GT-R start button here :shakes head:

I don't have a problem with moving the cars around, I'm just saying we'll need to make sure we have enough space to do it. Doesn't look like we would at your place. How big is your driveway? Don't want us all to be modding everything in the middle of that narrow street.

MyKindaGuise 08-09-2012 12:26 PM

I just street viewed that ish. Thats not ghetto...lol atleast where I come from.

Im not too sure on the space. Itll be interesting that is for sure.

i dont know why blades is soo worried about it, we'll make it work

b1adesofcha0s 08-09-2012 12:33 PM

I was just kidding about the ghetto stuff (kinda), but I am a little concerned about the space issue.
