I'm sure people have their legit reasons for not showing up - I'd never question that. But I spent a lot of money on drink and food days ago and had 8 or so people (out of ~20) cancel on me in the last 2 days, most of which were off the board, which stung a little when I've tried to give so much back to everyone. So I certainly hope that comment about not counting on anyone but yourself wasn't directed at me, D, because you were the only no-show who didn't even give a reason...
