Williamsburg C&C is supposed to get a huge turnout tomorrow. I was just invited by the Acura crew to join their caravan up but don't know if I'll be able to make it. Asians chicks, you know?

So contemplating getting LTHs, but don't know if the install is a PITA and if it is even legal to begin with.

LTHs remove the cats so yes. It is illegal in terms of state inspections and if someone notices they will fail you. You'll have to swap them and get re-inspected.

I've never had anyone check to see cats though, so I'd say he'd be fairly safe.

He asked if it were legal, not if anyone ever checked. It is not legal. What you choose to do is up to you.

If anyone in HR is interested I am thinking about selling my FI cat back exhaust. It was only on my Z a little over a month and is like new. Stainless with 18" resonators. I'm thinking $1100.

I'm old and it's louder than I want at part throttle around 2k rpm. It sounds sweet wide open and looks great though. I may put it back on this summer if it doesn't sell. I put on a AAM midpipe that I got from takjak2 and I am running the stock muffler with it. I'm looking for a Nismo muffler to try with the AAM midpipe.

sorry i missed this. would have been down for some coffee. I took advantage of dry times today to wash my car. 2 weeks without a bath...thats a first for either of my Z's.
