I do agree with Tigger installing a CBE is one of the easier DIYs but stuck bolts can make it a PITA. Get/borrow an impact wrench and something to cut bolts. Stuck bolts coming off the cats is a normal issue. Also have extra bolts and seals just in case. Some CBE kits require you to use the stock bolts coming off the cats so if you have to cut a bolt it would be good idea to have extras. FYI if you choose to not DIY it and take it some where it should only take a hour at the most but some places will quote 2 hours. Mine took 50 min even with stuck bolts at my buddies shop. |

I have access to plenty of power tools and all, but its the pain of lifting the car to deal with. Worst case scenario I will find somewhere local to do a quick install while I'm grabbing lunch/going to see a movie. Really hoping the non-res exhausted isn't crazy loud.

We'll I have some jack stands, 4 I think.
You're welcome to borrow them. I do have a jack but I don't think it will fit under a 370Z I orginally got it for my uhm, "other car". :roflpuke2: |
Don't forget that there is a jack with the spare tire.
Well at least my Z has one. It might not be the best way to get the car lifted but a least it will work. |

We're meeting up at the Landstown Starbucks @ 8:30pm. Every body is welcome to join us! Except Tigger. http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...mages/moon.gif :bowrofl: |
I have jacks and ramps, just hoping that is enough for lifting my car. Guessing Sunday/Monday I shall begin pissing off neighbors :D

Also tested out my jack and it will fit under my Z. How ever my Z is not lowered. If you need more just let me know! |

Ben, the exhaust job will be a lot easier on a lift. That's how I did mine. I wish I could help ya but work is going to eat my life for the next month or so.
Are we all still on for July 12th? I MIGHT be off that day but I can't say for sure. |
My dad just reminded me we have a friend who has a lift in his garage (wait wut?) so all is resolved. Thank you guys anyway! So stoked for this exhaust to finally be put on....just before I move to Maryland -_-

Thursday would be better for me too. I'm off this week and already have plans for Saturday. |

Any body got a preference on location? Wouldn't mind a change in scenery. Also I'm thinking later in the evening like 7pm. |
We could meet at my side of the water, at Oyster Point. Cool little muffin joint there with coffee and whatnot. For a change of scenery anyways haha.

Looking at the place online.
Where is a good place to park? :icon14: |
Also they close @8 so we might have to bump it to 6 or pick a different location.
|
Their is a huge parking lot right next to Aromas, that and spots out front. Lets shoot for 6 so we can grab coffee.
|
6 doesn't work for me. :o
For me it has to be 7 or later. |
How bout we move location to a near by Starbucks?
If time is an issue. |
I have 2 Starbucks in mind.
762 J Clyde Morris Blvd, Newport News, VA or 108 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, VA Both are open until 10pm. |

7 it is unless some one objects.
