Adrian,

I'll let Shaun know tomorrow...

What did they cover with 3M? front bumper, hood, side mirrors, etc? How much was it if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks for the info!

It's a premade kit from 3m. It covers the fascia, half the hood, front quarter panels, and mirrors. Think it was 650 with the discount. 5 year warranty for yellowing, bubbles, and tears and it's self healing. Total peace of mind.

U can add what u want, but that would be a custom job and cost different. My last 370, I had a wet rock mark that looked like it rolled up the hood....not trying to scare u.

Clear bra or not, Dr Color chip is awesome. Used it on my wife's car and would recommend it over other chip stuff I tried. May be a cheaper route than a clear bra.

wet rock mark? can you elaborate... What is Dr. Color chip?

Darketch 04-15-2015 06:06 AM

Dr Color chip is a product it fix rock chips. Doesn't cost 600+ bucks. YouTube to check it out.

My last Z had a scratch from the fascia to the middle of the hood. The previous owner said it was a raining and a rock hit and rolled up the car when he was going down the hwy. which is why some folks opt to get the full hood I guess.

I've shipped tons of wheels. It usually costs around $80-$100 to ship the set.

I was the only Z with my group of friends, but there was one 350z, another platinum graphite 370z and a million s2000's. Needless to say I got a lot of compliments on my car, especially the exhaust. I had an s2000 guy tell me it sounded better than all the s2000's lol.

That's where I got mine done. He did an awesome job, really nice guy too. Worth every penny. My front end still looks brand new other than where I hit my bumper on a curb lol.

You know it's kind of funny, a waitress at the Grille within Fontana said the Z guys party way harder than the s2000 guys. My friends got all butthurt about it.

You going this year?

Lol. Too funny. I'm actually going with Tyler in July. Got a cabin over there for a few days. Not going to party. Going to drive and explore. Can't wait.

If yall know anyone that wants to buy an exhaust, let me know.

Why does "someone's" post screw up my resolution on this thread!

bkngo 04-15-2015 08:00 PM

Adrian,

Thanks for elaborating about wet rock and POC for 3M clear bra...

What was your resolution?
