College Park Tuning Spring Charity Meet 2012 at Bowie Baysox Stadium 4/29/12
 

Yes, I know....very close to ZDayZ but figured I'd post it anyway....it was pretty fun the year I went.


College Park Tuning prefers groups of at least 15. We need 5 more to sign up. Payment must be made via PayPal ($3 per car) no later than 22 April. I'll make the full payment and then just collect the $$$ from the attendees at the meet. Also, please don't forget this little tidbit:


We will be asking for 1 non-perishable food item per person and $1.00 entry fee. If you forget to bring an item or prefer not to, we will collect a $2.00 entrance fee/donation on your way into the lot.

So I'll pay the parking costs and ask for re-embursement at the meet. You guys bring a can of food or two and $1 OR $2 and everyone should be good to go!

We usually start packing things up at 6pm

Food
Food will be served by the Baysox stadium staff. It will be typical grill food (burgers/hotdogs).

• $80 for 2 - 3 baseline pulls w/ A/F and printout. FWD or RWD only

Reserving Space
The people have spoken and if you want to reserve space for your club or group you need to contact us ASAP and give us an accurate head count by April 22nd. We require the entrance fee of $3 per car paid in advance when reserving spaces, but we ensure that clubs get a set amount of spaces together and we will give those clubs priority admittance.

Basic Rules
1. Be respectful of other peoples cars. Please do not touch a persons car without their consent
2. No alcohol
3. No scandalous attire (this is a family event)
4. Chairs are permitted everywhere but no taking up parking spaces with them
5. No saving spaces (group or forum contacts us before hand at collegeparktuning@gmail.com if you would like to organize rolling in as a group and have a select number of spots reserved)
6. No burnouts or anything stupid. Police will be at the event and cameras are rolling 24/7 at Bowie

I can finally go to this thing! Do you guys want to get a group together to reserve spacing? Tony, maybe you can get start a list to see how many people would be interested in doing this. I'm in for sure.

Well, you guys couldn't go last year anyway. It was such an epic fail because they failed to secure FedEx Field and had to cancel two days before the event was due. Major screw up on CPT's part.

I'd be willing to go this year though if it's not a repeat of last year. :ugh2:

Almost forgot about this thing. I should be there. Have we figured out anything about parking as a group?

Anyways, are the Va people meeting in Va, then cruising to where ever the MD people are meeting, then Cruising to the MD show together? Or whats the plan?

I am not parking my car near anybodys but you guys, I dont trust anyone else. If I have random cars parked next to mine I will be stressed the whole time and will likely pass lol. When I park I always take 4 spaces, except when I meet with my forum/club buddys. I know you guys care about your cars as much/more then me.

Not sure what the plan is for cruising down. I'm only like 20 mins away from there though.

Ron, I might just meet up with you at your place so we can go down there together. I guess we can all meet at Ron's house in that case :icon17:

It's all about 45 degree angle entry young grasshopper.

You try that with shorter tires and a front lip and we'll see what happens. Your driveway is really steep!

outch. Already took my slams for the year. Even a slight ripple at the tips of the front fenders now. I would like to make though the summer before I "Shop" it for the 3rd time. They are going to get tired of fixing and sanding and painting the same front end over and over :eekdance:

What I'd really like to do is meet at Nissan of Bowie early enough that traffic won't suck and we can get into our spots early. And if I can't secure reserved spots, maybe if we get there early enough we can still park next to each other.
