Yeah I am curious too. Idk how it got like that if you don't wear rings. Do you wear a watch? Sometimes I catch myself resting my wrist on the top of the shifter. I may paint the top black and so the white and red nismo logo on top.

You left handed? If not...why do you wear your watch on your right wrist?

I am not be DM might be. Regardless I still rest my right wrist on my shifter. if he wears a watch or some sort of wrist bling...idk just making theories

Oh, sorry, I thought you were talking about yourself. Gotcha.

Also, if your hand is resting on the shifter and you aren't keeping 2 hands on the wheel at all times when not shifting, you're wrong anyway :-p

Haha pretty sure 2 aren't needed at red lights or sitting in traffic.

Its most likely dust, dirt or debris in the air, it gets caught under your hand, without you realizing it, and as your using the knob, you scratch it.. The dust will actually cause it..

Ever wonder how your CDs get scratched inside your CD player, its the dust that gets inside the radio, and it gets on the rollers that slide your cd player into place.. causing hair line scratches. Its true. I learned about it when I worked at Best Buy.
