This sounds like something that should made that made year Z recalled for this issue.

Its only been an issue for the past few months as this was when it started to happen to people. Now it appears that the 2012s don't even have this part any more which is even more interesting.

Def suspicious.... They probably heard about the problem and fixed it, but didn't inform any other Z owners

The GTRs had the same issue. They recalled the GTRs because they knew it would lead to bad press if they didn't do anything to fix their flagship car. Obviously they don't care as much about the Z or it's owners... $30-40k is not enough.

Probably some idiot turning into the spot who scratched in.

I park head facing out and it looks like he scratched the part right in front of my wheel, I noticed it because there was paint that was chipped off in little streaks and chunks and I looked at pics of my car from before and they were def not there.

It's at my apt complex and according to records, no one is supposed to be parking on either side of me, but I always see random people parking up there near my car on friday nights for the 'view' on the terrace. So I went and complained today...

Still pissed about this... you'd think I wouldn't have to deal with this **** paying for parking every month... so moving out of this place when my lease is up.

Any apt is going to have those risks unfortunately.

I'd say, I would go above and beyond to park far away from everyone, even if its a pain in the azz and you gotta walk a little bit, just for reasons like this and the horrible door ding.

Is $312 including shipping a good price for a set of swift springs? or should I see what Jomer can do?

Seems good to me. Might as well wait for Jomer to get back to you since he usually replies pretty quickly and might be able to save you like $15-20.

elliotty 03-05-2012 09:15 AM

Nice meeting everyone this weekend in Fairfax! I hope to make it out to more meets in the future!

Go to Jomer, if you have aim hes on it right now. Hes the only guy I go to for parts because he consistently beats other vendors on prices.

Nice meeting you too,

It's not street racing...

It's linear acceleration testing.
