Could get something All Seasonal tires as Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus or something else less. Yokohama Sport is great tires but threadwear is too low.

On tire rack for a 245 40ZR-19 all around its around $970. They seem to rank pretty high in most comparison tests against much more expensive summer tires like the PS2 and PZero, save for say the new Michelin Pilot Super Sport :yum:

My dad has the Pilot Sport A/S+ on his '04 Vette and seems to like them. Then again, he's 61 years old and drives like grandma :stirthepot:

Looks like rain/snow for tomorrow morning so I guess the meet is off. I know I won't be there.

m4a1mustang 02-10-2012 11:00 PM

Since I told Jay I'd put some up here:

I apologize for the messy garage. Need to clean it.

But first I am going to spend the better part of tomorrow cleaning the S. It's a used car so I feel kind of nasty since the dirt in it is from other people, so I'll be taking the seats out and everything for a thorough cleaning!

VVEL is a little more advanced than two cam phases like in VTEC. But VVEL doesn't have the cam crossover like VTAK that makes the engine go from WAAAAHHHHH to WEEEEEEEEEEEEEAEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!VTAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAKK!!!!!

birdmanx1 02-11-2012 01:11 PM

Nope. It just does it. Been happening on wet days for the last few months

Al, have you checked the filters and all the couplings for the tubes to ensure a proper seal? Are you throwing any CELs? Driving around in wet weather shouldn't be causing that to happen unless you are forging rivers in the Z. What makes you say its the intakes?

shadoquad 02-11-2012 04:14 PM

Common issue with injen. Their positioning makes them suck moisture.

I'm going back ti stock intakes when I install the oil cooler.

And I'm selling when the weather gets warm

Sscottfitz 02-11-2012 05:09 PM

Nice Roadster Steve -- sure sign you are starting to get older.....:icon17:

That's really interesting considering I never had an issue with them and I parked my car outside. Sorry that you're dealing with so many problems with the car lately. :(

Maybe you should get a Miata. Still fun, not much power to get yourself into trouble, and cheap to own. :hello:

Every sports car is a waste of money. I don't know yet if I'll sell, but this car simply doesn't reward me anymore for all the work, money, and time I put into it.

Isnt ur car still under warranty? Or are all the issues youre having related to your mods?

Better check your steering lock revision because it might not reward you for much longer... :bowrofl:
