Seriously stay in school, delay the real world as long as you possibly can. I wish someone had told me that when I was a senior. Go for your Masters don't put it off. Real world sucks. Money is nice, but no where near as nice as the college life.

College life would be easier/more fun if it want for the long azz commute, working part time, and all the damn hw. I have experienced the work life and definitely like it better. Though I guess I'm not living the typical college life that you guys are talking about.

I'll actually have a whole weekend off then as opposed to the 1 day off per week I have now.

You're going to Mason now? No more WVU? Does this mean you can come out to meets more often? :happydance: :excited:

Meh beater is boring!

I might get a truck next year, though.

Masa 01-27-2012 12:35 PM

Theyre nice and fast for sure (brother in law owned one) but for daily commute its stupid. He drove like a granny and averaged like 11mpg.

Burger joint is the plan for tomorrow. Still haven't decided if I should install my bumper before or after the meet. If I do it before, I'll be a little late to the meet. If I do it after, you guys won't see it for another 2 weeks :icon17:

He could never get a Jeep SRT8, it would smoke his 5.0 :icon17:

m4a1mustang 01-27-2012 01:58 PM

:icon17:

If I get a truck it's going to be a Frontier or something like that. MAYBE an F150, but I think the Frontier is better sized for this area and what I need it for.

Cristobal09 01-27-2012 03:03 PM

so any FFX'ers going up to MD tomorrow?

b1adesofcha0s 01-27-2012 03:32 PM

So what do you guys think about my bumper? Before or after the meet?

The only issue with that is carrying my bumper to Columbia since it will not fit inside the Z. I was going to just do it in my parking lot. It can be done without using ramps or a jack, right? If so I'll try to get up a little early to get it done.

Jacks/Ramp make it a LOT easier....because you need to get under the car to unscrew some schtuff.

IIRC all the stuff you need to unscrew is right near the edge and pretty reachable. For an oil change definitely since you have to unscrew things you can't normally reach. Just for the bumper though, I think I should be ok. I'll look at the bumper sitting in my room to make sure :p

You gotta try it, last time we went I wanted a normal Coke so I pressed the Coke button on the screen and like 15 flavors popped up. I ended up getting the Vanilla one. :yum:
