They'll usually get you pretty good if they spot you doing anything north of 40.

I was enjoying a spirited drive.... passed a few people in the passing lanes, passed a ranger going the other way while in the 40's - no issue.

There were not many other drivers on the road. The biggest thing i think is to watch out for deer or other wildlife. The road itself is beautifully curvy, wide, easily handled by our cars even at higher speeds. (if you were to exceed the limit

)

I will try to make this one. FWIW, you should include a stop at the Sperryville Emporium on the cruise. It's right off of 211 before you begin the climb to Skyline (or right at the end of your descent if you're coming from Skyline). It's a cool store. I always stop there to pick up apple butter, honey, and apple cider.

I actually did stop there. I think its a good turn-around point.

Great deal Randy. I'll talk to the photographers about joining us for this cruise and snap away like they did last time. Al will finally get his deserved full blown Hollywood cruising style shots

I was wondering based on the number of attendees if we could do a tiny contribution/car for the photographers time taking pics and editing them for all of us. I will cover their gas and food expenses
