Nice shot, Mike!

My first year, 2010, we also encountered fog on the Skyway and turned back.

I have first hand experience with how poopy they are!

Biggest mistake I made was putting those on the Z. It was back when they were relatively fresh and were getting good reviews from the sport compact world. Figured they would be worth a try... never again.

I mean I know they are crap but I havent really had them let me down too bad yet. Next set is gonna be something better but its really gonna hurt to blow thru, what $1800 worth of PSS', or whatever I get, in 10k miles.

I think PSS would last you longer than that. I drive the piss out of mine and think I should get 20k or more.

If you like the way your car handles now you will love it with a real tire. The PSS don't roll over like the V12s do. Your handling/response will feel more crisp and direct with much better feedback. And of course you'll have more grip.

20k I could deal with.

When the time comes, my friend.

I would drive there just for that event!
I drive in almost all of the Buccaneer Region events in Savannah. This year we have two events a Roebling Road. August and October. All other events are at Hutchinson Island.

I could tell the difference in sidewalls immediately when I took the RS3's off. I think the RS3's have better grip, but the feedback on the PSS's are crisp and precise

KaienZ34 05-26-2012 08:55 AM

I don't know the tread life rating on the hankooks, but the re-11's are only 180 and the PSS's are 300. The PSS's is what i'm going for, yeah baby...

b1adesofcha0s 05-26-2012 09:01 AM

I'd get the PSS to but I've been told the RE-11 are better for track duty. I want to get them now, but don't really have the money or a place to put the spare set. I'll probably get them in the spring right before track season begins

The RS3's are 140 and I love them! But they are my beater set.

The Hankooks are 280 I believe. Damn the PSS are 300, nice!

m4a1mustang 05-26-2012 11:54 AM

Remember tread life rating is really not comparable across brands.

You are NOT the stig. Some say he sleeps inside-out... and his left nipple is the shape of the Nurburgring.

All we know is... Alchemy wishes he had these traits :stirthepot:

thanks, I sold it to a guy in Pennsylvania and he has done so much more with it. Its really beautiful now. I was third owner and it was a track car since new, so the chassis only had 70000 miles on it, albeit hard ones. First owner was a nissan dealer that raced it.
