BTW, anyone know where the closest place to get beer is? I know its a dry county or whatever but I dont feel like hauling cases of beer from NJ. I dont need my beer boiling in my trunk for 10+hrs. Plus Im gonna be hurting for space.

haha i mean its a possibility but not ideal for a whole weekend. My one friend said i should just take a tent then stopped when he realized "oh yea there's not much room in the Z" lol

They sell beer in the gas station at FVR.

We thought the same but found out its available just as Juno has said at the gas station at Fontana Village.

It's pretty expensive there isn't it?

I don't recall if it was expensive or not honestly. However, you'd have to drive back into town which is about a 25 minute drive each way to the market otherwise. Best thing is to load up on the way in to FVR.

but it's a pretty drive! :)

Highly recommend to hit a grocery store just outside of FVR and load up on Food/Booze/Beer,and then come to FVR.

We bring wayyyy too much booze as it is :icon17:

There's drinks at Fontana.(bar and grocery store) But most people do Coolers and lug them around. BYOB.. Stock the cabin fridge for the weekend. It's just the preferred method, I guess. Plus cheaper overall.

The Fitz's never slack on the hard liquor... huge bottles of goose and crown :yum:
