Well this sorta makes up for all the other crazy crap that seems to find its way to you.

Buddy, that's nothing. I owned an srt8 charger and was part of the mopar group (nice guys but, in my opinion at least, terrible taste in mods). Every one of the 300's and Magnums were ridin on 24 inch rims, slammed to the ground, lambo doors. That's actually clean compared to the crap I was subjected to at those meets lol.

Chris, this is the NEW 2012 Chrysler SRT8, all you see is standard including the cool rims and colors, LOOKS AMAZING. I've always had a weakness for the SRT8 but never was a fan of the build quality with the old Dodge. The new dodge on the other is worthy a second look.

They've done a huge turnaround, the interior as well as exterior quality is great. The new SRT8 is 470HP so gas might be an issue. ;)

You need one of those because of how many ladies hang off of you everywhere you go. I'm tired of seeing you drive down the street with a lady in the passenger seat, one in the trunk, and two clinging tenaciously to your Nismo wing.

The other secret is that my Z has a hydraulic suspension. When I raise the tire in the air to wave to them, the panties drop.

birdmanx1 03-29-2012 02:22 PM

Oh don't forget about the Axe Body wash you hide in your trunk. I was told by one of your ladies that it works magic :p might have to switch my old spice.

So I stepped out of work early today to go test drive an evo with my friend cause hes really wanted one for awhile. I have to say, those are pretty quick, definitely quicker than the 370 if you ask me. The guy said he would give me 40 for my nissan as is, even though I had no intention of buying one, he wantd to sell it to me that bad. I wont lie, I was REALLY tempted, (my wife would have left me however considering I get a new car every year almost) and I knew I wasnt but I figure what the hell, lets see what they can get my payments to IF I were to buy one.

Then they ran the credit...691 which isnt sooo bad, but they saw my debt to income ratio (ive got a loooooooottttt of debt) and they said the best they could do is a 7 percent rate....That is when I politely said hell no, and left. My dumb azz friend on the other hand had a 498 and expected to get the car, one bank approved him and it was a 14 percent rate and he had to put like 5 grand down. So needless to say, we both left with the same cars we came in.

What is interesting to note is that Ralph Gilles who designed the 300 and made it their most successful sedan in years, was moved over as the head of Dodge to become the head of the newly created SRT brand. He is a huge performance car fan. He loves the Viper and now he has been instrumental in helping get the new SRT Viper to the market which unveils next week. Anyhow, FIAT moved him there from the head of Dodge which many thought was a demotion. In fact it was the best thing FIAT could have done was to put him as head. FIAT/Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchione has been all about quality. The new Dodge Dart gets 40MPG, looks agressive and next year we'll get to see the U.S. built Alpha Romeo!

Cristobal09 03-30-2012 05:24 PM

Yeah the new dodge dart is nice. You can get a carbon fiber hood as an option along with a ton of other performance related goodies. Its sharp as hell too.

:icon18::icon18::icon18: I laughed throughout your entire post Chris, your friend's gonna have to pay for whichever car he gets next cash.

I'm loving all the changes Chrysler has been doing since they went through the bankruptcy. That SRT8 looked amazing and really caught my attention with the body kit, the wheels, interior and the color :p I could definitely see myself driving one (470HP of heavy brute force & gas guzzling at your disposal)

m4a1mustang 03-30-2012 08:21 PM

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE NEW VIPER. OMG. I have a sneaking suspicion it will be the next car I buy. I saw the sneak peek at the interior and I think they are going to knock it out of the park!
