Shahid, I believe you may be mistaken on the 2.5hrs. I checked the distance from Glen Burnie to Sandy Point and it is about 25 miles depending on what route you take. That is about half an hour drive for you.

Yeah, you're right Jon. I should have searched for "Sandy Point State Park" instead of "Sandy Point, MD" in Google maps. If this was the day of the bbq and I had manned up for the drive, I would have missed it all together
