I've seen low 13's from most of the car mags for the manual, but I think auto is supposed to be quicker for the 370Z. I think I saw one guy who said he got a 12.8 on a stock auto 370Z. I'm aiming for low 13's. Anything in the 12 range would be awesome. Am I setting a good goal for myself here or would it be difficult for someone with my limited experience? Gonna try both with and without launching to see how much of a difference it makes.

I did take it to be a complement, but I feel like he might have accidentally said Porsche and not actually thought it was one. I feel like Porsche sports cars all have a generally similar shape and the 370Z looks nothing like that, which is what had me confused. I think its weird how people have started noticing my car a lot more after I got my tint done. Even people who have seen it several times over the past 5 weeks are just asking me now if it's mine.
Nah you always want a nice cool intake charge for the best times. If you can get your launch right and keep those 60 ft times in check, you'll definitely see low 13's. I can't remember if your Z is a 7AT or M6. If you've got a manual and you know how to launch and shift it well, I don't see why anything less than a 13.5 isn't possible!
