Good to see everyone again.

I made it down to the Ford dealership to check out their inventory, but for whatever reason when I was looking at them last night I neglected to realize that they were all automatics, so I told the salesman I'd just keep an eye on inventory and come back when they have something I would consider.

That said I think I'll take the Z to Carmax to get it appraised and explore some private sale options to see what I could get out of it. I will be parting it out, too, if I decide to sell it. Going to see what kind of deals USAA can give me on a GT in the spec I want.

It's looking like as I am not taking a financial hit on the Z (I owe far less than what the car is worth) I will most likely be in a GT this year... and our group name will change to MAZOC(ASM)... Mid Atlantic 370Z Owner's Club (And Steve's Mustang)... :icon18:

Kirk and Frank, great meeting you guys! Its great to have some new folks joining us and lunch was great as always. Sorry we couldn't get a bigger table for us all. Steve, if you get a Mustang it'll be a truly diverse group with you and Tony's Aunt's beastly Mustang as well!

Hey guys, I had a great time meeting you all. I am out of town until September, but I am looking forward to cruising across town with the crew.

Coastal Flats was delicious.

Sorry I can’t make Williamsburg trip; sounds fun --- especially if we could make it a get crazy day at Bush Gardens!

The car felt dirty after I got home, so I washed it. I discovered a chip on the windshield and like 5 chips on the front of the car (mostly on the hood and down to the metal). The car is not going to be fun if it’s going to cost me hundreds to repair the paint every time I take it out; so I need to give that some thought. I don’t know if it has happened to my other cars, or if I just didn’t care to look. Anyway, I will be looking into car bras soon after I get back from vacation.

Again, Jon, Pat, Jay, Kirk, Steve, Scott, Tony, Brian, and Laura, it was a pleasure! Scott, gorgeous pictures (love the panoramic)!

Good to have you out at the meet! Nice pictures.

I feel your pain about the rock chips! Thankfully touch-up paint is pretty easy to apply if you want to go that route, otherwise I'm sure whoever applies your clear bra can take care of correcting the paint before they apply it. :tup:

Is anyone planning on going to the Chic-Fil-A meet on Friday night?

Been there once. It was pretty good. Lots of American muscle on display, too. I'd love to go this Friday but it usually lasts until 11:30 PM and then I've got Williamsburg this Saturday. Hmmmm....that would make for a lotta fun car time, tho. :rolleyes:

:icon18: Yep, gonna have to be up and on the road absolutely no later than 6 AM. Heading back down to my neck of the woods. Lived in Hampton for 10 years. Haven't been back since 2000. I'm sure it will have some serious changes but I'm looking forward to it.

That's cool. I dunno, I still haven't ruled it out, but that's damn early. I guess it depends on what I do Friday night. All I know is I need to be back in NOVA by 7:30 for Bristol, baby. :tup:

Well, I'm out. I have an eye exam scheduled for 10AM Saturday. I should be at the Starbucks meet by 11, though.

I'll be at Summit Point on Friday night and driving the Hyperdrive on Saturday at 1PM so I won't be at Starbucks this next time. If you guys get a wild hair and want to cruise out to Summit Point I'll see who ever makes it.

Well if you do decide to go I think it'll take you about 10 mins since you go at aircraft speed! Actually about an hour maybe to get there from Dulles/Chantilly from what I understand.

Anyways, who is going to Chick-Fil-A in Dulles tonight? And who is going to be at the meet tomorrow? Chances are I might not make either since I had some things come up.

Ditto for me......but I do want to talk to Jon about Z Nationals. Gotta figure out where we can meet since I'm now about 91% sure I want to go to it in September.
