Makes me so happy I bought a car that doesnt have any of these issuese..... yet :icon14: edit: dont get me started on my 06 MB clk500......it made the M3 look like a honda civic |
^haha....the electrical gremlins....
It felt like every weekend I was messing with something electrical on my beemers (00s). Newer ones have been great though. Maybe they got it, finally..... |

One thing with the Z... diff fluid changes every 30k are a good idea. Same with the transmission. |
More like every 15k with the diff

But that first change I would do ASAP. Factory fill is garbage. |
I have 280 miles on my Z, after putting down 4 grand on it, I think ima wait before switching out the fluids as Im broke. I need to find a reliable Japanese shop. Owning nothing but german performance cars as my toys, my shop probably wont touch it.

Of course it's a $50 part but it has to be programmed with STAR diagnostics and the labor is $700. :icon14: |
This is why I'll never buy a German car. :(
I buy cars for the long term. |

Things like proprietary $250 batteries are annoying. |
If I were to buy a german car I would only own it for the warranty period and there would have to be a maintenance plan included in the purchase.
If we get a Z4 coupe or TT coupe it has to be CPO. |

I'm not saying cheaper car companies are any more or less reliable, but when your cheap azz Fiord breaks down, it's a more survivable hit to the wallet. |

I will admit, with the M3, it was extremely fun to drive. The straight 6 had a great sound, the smg shifted ultra quick, and the exhaust had a great note to it. But the issues like I mentioned a couple pages ago about the rear subframe tearing was a 4,000 dollar fix that stung pretty bad. My B7 S4 I owned had no issues except the horrendous gas mileage, and it was a little bland to drive. I am definitely sticking to this Z for awhile.

I'd like to make a plea to everyone who is on the forum in Virginia or Maryland to take advantage of the meetup.com site that Steve started this past summer. Not many of us are using it and I'm pretty sure Steve will probably stop spending the money to fund it should we continue to not utilize it. Its a way for the new Z owners to find us because they may not be aware of this forum. Mid-Atlantic 370Z Owner's Club (Fairfax, VA) - Meetup
Hope to see everyone who can make it to Fairfax this Saturday! |
I have yet to make it out to a VA meet. Maybe one day... :P

Actually Steve used to come to MD meets, but stopped for some reason. The first meet I came to was in MD and I met Steve there (along with Jay, Jon, and Pat). That was also the last time I saw Steve at a (non-GB) MD meet, which was back in February :icon17: |
Thanks jon for the meetup plug. Def use it guys... it costs me 300 bucks a year :icon17:

Wah, my pussy hurts!
Exclamation. It's a retort to someone who is whining about something rather trivial. It is said among dudes to indicate that their compadre is acting like a little girl... Dude 1: I'm not sure I should ask her out, she might say no... Dude 2: Wah, my pussy hurts! Dude 1: Dude, you stole my beer! dude 2: Wah, my pussy hurts! Dude 1: Steve never comes to MD meets. I'm not going to another FFX meet. Dude 2: Wah, my pussy hurts!:tiphat: |
