Anyone know of a shop in NoVa that does good vinyl work? Looking to cover the chrome window trim in gloss black vinyl to start getting rid of the "bling".

Thanks!

m4a1mustang 11-07-2011 03:41 PM

Just DIY.

shadoquad 11-08-2011 12:11 PM

I wish I could make it this weekend. Unfortunately, sh1t's gonna be really crazy for me over the next few weeks/months. You guys won't see me for a while :(

I won't be able to do any cruising this Saturday. I gotta get some work done on my Mazda so I'll be at the meet and then maybe some lunch then headed back to Mary Land for car work.

Anyone else ever shows up at the Fairfax meets? It has been like ghost central for some times now :icon17:

I like going to them. While the commute is worse, I like their location a little better. It's a nicer area by a small margin.

But I won't be at any meets in the near future.

:crying: you just got new brakes, no reason not to show up anymore. Has TROOPER done it again to you Al?

I appreciate the humor, but the fact is that my father passed away recently, and I have to help my family out for the foreseeable future. I don't know how long this will take.

I'm very grateful to a lot of the folks in this community for their support, and I'm very fond of our MAZOC crew. I'll make it out again when everything's taken care of.

I think if the Fairfax meets were closer to Columbia, more people would go to them :icon17:

Most important thing is to take care of your family. We'll be here whenever you're ready to come back

OMG Al, I didn't know. My sincere condolences for your loss; take care of your family and what needs to be taken care of. I am saddened by the news.

Cristobal09 11-09-2011 06:06 AM

Chris our favorites in the past have been:

Todai
Sakura
Dogfish Head
Coastal Flats
Famous Daves
Sweetwater

Of course we are always open to suggestions. We usually iron everything out about 15 minutes before we roll out to lunch. :icon17:

we usually go places that cost 15-20 bucks for lunch. It's not that bad. And lunch is not required

Coastal Flats (and also Ozzie's) are owned by the same group as Sweetwater so there is a lot of menu overlap. All three are great places.

Todai is all you can eat sushi at the Fair Oaks mall. Good stuff. Sakura is sushi + japanese steakhouse.

Dogfish is a good place for American food and beer.

MightyBobo 11-09-2011 08:39 AM

Mmmmm Dogfish.....I wanna go so bad. Maybe I'll go to the Fairfux meet this week...

Cristobal09 11-09-2011 08:43 AM

Ughh, definitely no sushi. Ill eat anything except that stuff.

Its suppose to be gorgeous Saturday, in the 60's. I know the M3 fairfax group meets at the same time in the vicinity of where we will be. When I had my M3 I couldnt stand them.
