Free differential bushing removal tool.
Good to know about the aluminum sub-frame. I can remove the bushing in about 20 minutes in the steel sub-frame. Putting a new one in takes me about 1 hour.

[OFFICIAL] Discussion for the next new Nissan 400Z Z35?
It's a Z34 with a Q motor. Nice idea; too bad they're like 5 years late on the execution. I'll hold off any judgement until I see how well it handles the heat. Based on the cooling in the N/A Z34,...

[OFFICIAL] Discussion for the next new Nissan 400Z Z35?
That's my point! It's getting worse over the years :icon17: I'm not talking track. I'm talking about seeing 260F temps with cruise control active on the highway in the summer heat in Texas. ...

Compression test - what range values?
That's what I use. After you are done with the syringe. You have to pull it apart and wipe the oil off the rubber to keep it from swelling up. The rubber hates oil.

Speaking of GTR, the special edition Nissan GTR 50 is officially in production (https://www.thedrive.com/news/33581/against-all-odds-the-710-hp-nissan-gt-r50-by-italdesign-is-now-in-production) ...

Make sure that you pour an equal amount of oil in each cylinder. If not, you can get one or two cylinders reading a lot higher.

Oil pressure
Cheers :tiphat: To be clear I purchased a 150 psi gauge a year ago. So I'm all set. I was just curious.

Any gauge that gets pegged on a regular basis will fail sooner then later. Gauges do not like being pegged. You damage the internals and the sensor. A digital would be a bit better at being pegged.

Oil pressure
I learned something today. I always wondered why oil PSI gauges that read over 100 even exist.

Wouldn't 100psi indicate that? Even if you don't see the actual max pressure, you would see it peg 100 for a period of time then you would see it drop below 100.

I've got some questions. They may or may not be dumb; I certainly am. What does it matter if the gauge doesn't go above 100? The oil pressure only reads over 100 on startup, right? So if the...

If the engine is running ok and not making any weird noises. You dodged a big bullet. You're damn lucky.
