I would say the only weak point would be the syncros - they are notorious for wearing out if you're slamming home gears. Otherwise, my money is on bulletproof for 99.9% of applications.

Nothing wrong with them, just not much has changed. I wouldn't worry about the year otherwise you could miss out on great deals! I'd say stay above 2011-2012 and you'll be fine..... the newer then...

Hankook ev02 isn't the best performance tire, but there is likely something wrong with the suspension if only the rear tires go bald in a few thousand miles while the same brand front tires held up...
