I think the reason they put the turbine speed there, is just because it will look cool with the needle always moving. This is unlike the battery voltage and temperature gauges which move so slowly...

This is a known issue with carbon build up, so why didn't they also add port injection. Makes no sense. Just another expense unfortunately I'll be in my bunk!
