I drive a G37 Sport Sedan (rear wheel drive, 6 speed manual) and have a background in electronics, auto mechanics, vehicle networks (CAN bus), C/C++ programming and micro controllers.

Most of my time is spent on automotive research (Nissan/Infiniti) and trying to help others.

Unless you are having misfire issues, there is no reason to replace the ignition coils. Generally the VHR coils last a very long time.

You need to scan the ABS module for codes and start there. The cheapest option I know of is the app OBDFusion ($7-14) with the $14 Nissan enhanced diagnostic add on and a $10 wireless OBD scanner....

If anyone has a cheap OBD scanner they can display the engine coolant temp sensor (ECT) and takes notes on how many dots and the actual temp.

I've never used "hope" as a strategy, but maybe it will work for you. Good luck!
