For years I have done all breather mods on all my cars without a tune. Even on my 2012 Z with basically the same mods. Never had an issue... I just added all breather mods and a tune to my current Z...

The fact of the matter is most exhausts on the Z drone to some degree. Not a whole lot of sound deadening in these from the factory. Unless you mod the cats you'll probably not notice much change...
