Yup,it’s the way the Z should have come from the factory.Little louder and deeper than the stock muffler.No pops or backfires or silly sounds.

I ran the mid-pipe with resonated short tails for 6 months. Can't speak to the volume with stock cats, but with HFCs the drone was too much for me for more than a 30-minute drive.

OP, sound is all subjective so you will get some people with sensitive ears and some that are deaf. What I can tell you is that with the stock cats the rasp will be minimal. If you ever want to swap...
