Thought I might mention one more thing. Changed the phase of the woofer on the AVIC-8000, since they are facing the bumper (away from the listener). That made a huge difference in the way it sounded...

so looked into being able to make the hatch open and close remotely and that'd be expensive as ****. Playing with the wiring does seem to indicate that a momentary switch between the grey trunk pop...

Aerojacket, i finally finished installng them after some wrestling but left that tab withouth anything. But your right ill either have to fab up a bracket or add an fiberglass extension to the fender...
