No comparison.... That M3 has so many big dollar problems - subframe, smg, cam bolts, rcab/fcab, rod bearings, alternator, ps hose leak, rear differential leaks, cpv leaks, timing chain...

The owner's manual, sales brochures, FSM, &c will have transmission gear ratios. Nearly all manual transmissions nowadays have at least one OD gear. In the 6MT, 6th gear is OD. 0.79:1, if my source...

Just leave it in gear and don't shift into neutral if you don't want to downshift. There's absolutely no reason to put it in neutral.
