I don't think linear power delivery is necessarily a negative thing. Engine does sound scary past 5kRPM. Yea, auto's are very easy to drive you should probably just make the switch and leave...

Having to cut a bolt on the drivers side is common. Sounds like the install went fine, just make sure you don't pinch the intake tubes with the clamps they give you like I did. :shakes head:
