Every time I see a Lexus RC out and about it looks shockingly good. A real head-turner IMO. If the Supra is even close to looking as good and is lighter then I will call it a win.

Exactly. The good thing is, the new engine is already built for forced induction from the factory. I'm not saying that boost on the the standard VQs are unreliable, but there's always that chance.

Hiatus and kill off are different. Z has seen a hiatus, never killed off. Supra has seen hiatus, NSX has..etc. Maybe the Z35 needs some time to percolate, like the z33 did? Way too much history for...

It's all a matter of personal taste to be respected. I prefer a 350Z/G35 body with 370Z/G37 interior and drive train.

It is. That said I'm a big fan of the VQ and would rather see them adding a factory tt option to it instead of reinventing the wheel err engine.
